OUR

teaching, Africa has bright future in
global education based on EdTech!
OUR VISION
Half of global female youth will live in
Africa in 2050. If we can make just 1 in
1,000 a very good teacher, lecturer or
coach, we'll make "EdTech Valley" across
entire Africa!
OUR MISSION
To increase the role of female African
teachers, lecturers and coaches in
future global education system based on
EdTech and online larning!
OUR CORE VALUES
SDG4 and SDG8 because good education has
to be followed by decent work!
DO YOU KNOW HOW CORONAVIRUS
CHANGES GLOBAL EDUCATION AND
MAKES EDTECH MORE IMPORTNAT?
Welcome
to African Women In Global
Education!
When people think about a teacher in
Africa, it's usually: female (over
60%), 25-45 years old (over 70%), with
decent ICT training (over 80%)? It
implies over 1 million wise women
here, ready to run lessons online
anywhere in the world before 2030. We
must act together to make African
schools ready for future education
standards based on EdTech. We founded
AWIGE.ORG in Africa to support United
Nations with SDGs mission. Co-founders
are:
- Ms. Barbara Opati
(international teacher of English)
- Ms. Edith L'lande (lecturer
in English literature)
- Ms. Belinda Siago (coach and
journalist)
All we co-operate with "Stork School"
agency based in London, UK. If you are
female African teacher of English
ready to teach online, and you want to
join AWIGE.ORG, you can go through
registration process: HERE (you have
to have Gmail® account). It's very
strict but we have to build strong
brand of female African teachers very
keen on EdTech for global education.
